Music Festival SZN

Festival season is in full swing folks, and we couldn’t be more hype. If you didn’t make it to Governor’s Ball and weren’t lucky enough to attend Essence Fest, there’s still plenty of fun to be had before the summer comes to an end. With Afropunk and Made in America just around the corner, we thought it’d be a good idea to help you pack.

When attending a music festival, practicality is key, as you’ll be spending the entire day outdoors. So pack light but don’t forget any of the necessities. Comfort is key so make sure your footwork is not only fly, but extra comfortable. To ensure that you have all your essentials at the festival, we advise you to rock a back pack. You wouldn’t want to run back and forth to your hotel room and possibly miss a great performance.

Now what should you have in that handy dandy back pack of yours? First and foremost, we strongly encourage you douche bags to wear sunscreen and reapply every two hours. It’s also important to have a wallet with your id, credit card and enough cash for food and drinks.

Remember, we’re thinking practically here, so don’t expect to find an outlet when your battery gets low. Bring a portable charger to keep your phone well juiced even after you finish taking enough photos and videos for the gram.

Stay hydrated with a bottle of water or two, but don’t you dare open it before you enter festival grounds. After being in the hot sun for a few hours, you’re bound to get sweaty, so throw a towelette and deodorant in your back pack as well. Oh yea, and just in case you and your homies want to chill out and take a seat, bring a blanket.

That heat may get to you, but don’t let it put a damper on your entire day. Just so you’re on the safe side, have a pack of pain relievers for any aches and pains you may experience.

This year the wolves will be in attendance at both Made In America in Philly and Afropunk in Brooklyn. Don’t be  a stranger, and say waddup if you see us.  We might be wolves, but we don’t bite !
